The Swiss Leister Group is known worldwide for its high-precision automatic plastic welding machines. Welding machines, extrusion welding machines and hot air blowers from Leister are in demand worldwide and are used everywhere. They are used to thermally join or shape plastics in a wide variety of applications.

For the global launch of the VARIMAT 700/500/300, an automatic roof welder weighing 37 kilograms, we worked closely with Leister to develop a blow mold case that not only protects the machine itself.

The task: The 37 kilogram automatic roof welder requires a safe and durable housing that not only protects the device itself, but also impresses in terms of efficiency and ergonomics.

"Despite the time pressure, B&W met the deadlines so that our welding machine was launched on time."

The solution: A customized blow moulding case that combines all requirements: Ergonomics, protection, handling and design. Equipped with extra-large castors and a telescopic handle, roofers can now travel to the construction site and let the device, which has to be so heavy due to the required contact pressure, roll easily out of the case on integrated rails.

The wide-opening lid not only ensures easy handling of the VARIMAT 700, but also easy access to accessories without having to lift the appliance. The practical handle in combination with two heavy-duty castors maximize convenience. The case was produced in the Leister color (RAL 6032 matt), making it a true supreme solution in terms of design.
